“ Lots of free parking. Super friendly staff. Very clean inside. Everyone loved their meals. We will be back again soon! ”
“ I've said many time teriyaki ain't my bag, but it's close to Chinese and with the lack of Chinese restaurants sometimes you have to compromise. The reviews for this place are near flawless , so I decided to give them a try. This place is off 3rd, and for anyone that drives third, you know traffic is thick and you are trying to find a lane to get through and not get caught by a light. So in the decades I've live here, I've never seen this place because 3rd is one way and no one has time to be checking their review view. Tiny spot, but clean and modern. I got a lunch special and asked for soup. The girl didn't charge me for soup, so either I got lucky, or they just don't advertise it. Miso was delicious and the food came pretty quick after. I had chicken an gyoza, it came with a couple small scoops of rice and salad. The salad was pretty sad, without a doubt the weakest side salad I've been served. No veggies, just lettuce and the dressing was watered down. I like places that serve a sesame ginger dressing, it really wakes up your taste-buds. The gyoza was really good. I would have likes it steamed and fried better than deep fried, but everyone is lazy these days. The chicken could have been a little more flavorful and moist, but it wasn't horrible. I'm going to assume they make their own sauce, It wasn't too sweet, but it had a different flavor. In the end, this place is better than the average spot, but it's not life changing and that what the current score eludes to. I think this place is a 3, leaning towards 3.5, but since Yelp doesn't allow half ratings, I rounded up because service was so good. That said, I'll probably come back to try the Chinese dishes. And I don't regret coming in today. ”
“ DELICIOUS! My favorite types of teriyaki are the super saucy, slightly tangy sweet teriyakis of my childhood so this hits a very specific craving! Service is very friendly and efficient, food was ready in a reasonable but not suspiciously quick time. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot, as I'd just gotten off work and made it there with 5 minutes before closing. I ordered a spicy chicken and beef combo and it was perfect. I'll be ordering the beef from now on with an extra side of salad! Super easy to find and park, clean and welcoming and so so yummy, give them a go you will not regret it! ”
“ Visited recently for the first time craving some mongolian beef. My siblings gave Wild Ginger high accolades and that was enough for a visit. There are a ton of items on the menu and will definitely be back to give some more of them a go. We were getting items to go so I can't speak completely to their service, but the person at the counter was friendly and food was out pretty quickly. Mongolian beef was tasty, more of the stewed variety than I was looking for but I'd get it again. ”
“ As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable, due to the cozy decor and welcoming staff. They had a large selection in their menu, which made my job of deciding more difficult. My order was taken quickly and I was on my way within about 10 minutes. I got one of the teriyaki combos and with Katsu. The Teriyaki was moist and tender, yet had a slightly charred texture outside. The katsu was crisp and tender inside. Overall a delicious experience. It's definitely someplace I wouldn't hesitate visiting again. ”
“ We picked up our order at Wild Ginger to go after calling in on Saturday at about 1:30. This was a good time to pick up our food because the lunch rush wasn't too busy. We ordered their chicken katsu and their spicy chicken teriyaki. These are our go to's-we have these about twice a month. Their katsu is crispy and the sauce that they use for the spicy chicken teriyaki has a nice kick! We love the dressing that their salad comes with to boot-it is good for both their greens and for their teriyaki. While we have gotten our food to go from them a couple of times, we would love to dine in one of these days. Their quality and their flavors are consistent, and they are conveniently located in downtown Renton. ”
“ The teriyaki place in Auburn that I have been going every week since March 2020 is under new management and has made some changes, so I'm on a quest to visit all of the teriyaki places in Auburn/Kent/Renton to find my new go to. My usual order is chicken breast with egg roll, which is what I ordered here. Can't say I am a fan of their teriyaki sauce, as I felt it needed to be a little sweeter. The rest was pretty good overall, and a good portion for a lunch special. Everything tasted fresh. The service is top notch and the restaurant is very clean and well-maintained. ”
“ It is hard to pick a teriyaki place when there are so many around with 3-4 star ratings so I decided to go with the one that had the most reviews on Google. Wild Ginger met my expectations. General Tso chicken--Meat was tender and had a good sauce Chicken Katsu--Meat was a bit dry but it was crispy Salad--Crunchy, packed separately White rice--Fresh, not too dry or soggy Online website interface is really basic and doesn't provide a time estimate of when it is ready. I would give them 20-25 mins as that was how long my order took on a Saturday night. I will be back to try other things! ”
“ Came here after Top Golf knowing it was one of Yelp Washington's top restaurants. I will immediately say that the service is above and beyond which makes Wild Ginger memorable. On our way out, we even had the door held open for us which was completely unnecessary but demonstrated exceptional service and friendliness. Beyond that, prices are fair with portions and there's a parking lot. Location is also decent. We snagged four teriyaki plates and a bento box. All items might come with soup, not sure but we all got offered egg flower soup or miso soup which was a warm welcome. We were also offered fortune cookies after our meal which was a nice gesture. Chicken & Katsu Teriyaki Combo - it doesn't look like much but the protein definitely helps fill you up. Good teriyaki sauce and great katsu sauce. Fairly viscous. While I thought the teriyaki was pretty standard, the katsu was very tender and nearly melted in my mouth. Katsu and Assorted Tempura Bento Box - with the bento boxes, you pick two entrees (or "sides," depending on what you consider them as) which come with a 8 piece California roll, bed of rice, and salad. A bit of everything for those indecisive. Pretty filling despite the picture. ”
